Burns Night Around the Corner

The schools are back and I find myself bread making, among other activities - a great stress reliever for students studying for Mocks!  I have been proud to play a part in The Biggar Youth Project this week, a super Community Initiative bringing a healthy attitude to food to the neighbourhood. It links theory and practice, through studying the REHIS Food and Health Certificate followed with practical application through cookery classes. They are a lovely enthusiastic bunch.

Burns Celebrations are just around the corner. If you are planning to join one of the delicious events on offer from Members you had better book fast as places are filling up. In Burns, Scotland has a USP other countries envy - it is great for tourism, conviviality and a great night out so get your tartan on and have some fun!  Master Chef Willie Deans in Perth is one such chef, preparing a 4 course gourmet supper, with a wee dram, recitals, songs, the works.
