MEET WENDY BARRIE

Wendy is a popular cookery show presenter and highly respected campaigner for finest local produce, where to find it and what to do with it. She provides independent food related expertise at her Food Studio and can be found on the highways and byways checking out the best in Scotland's outstanding food larder.

Wendy is Founder and Director of the independent award-winning Scottish Food Guide , with its newly created food studio in Fife being the perfect setting for meetings and courses. Working as an independent Expert, no two days are the same but her commissions generally fall into five categories:

Food Courses - Food Tourism - Food Education

Food Events - Food Hygiene.

Cooking is at once child's play and adult joy. And cooking done with care is an act of love.

Substantial experience as a Cookery presenter and guest speaker ensures that events attended, or run, by Wendy have great interaction with visitors and delegates alike.   Project management and media handling for food festivals include The Royal Highland Show, Gardening Scotland, London Restaurant Show, BBC Good Food Show and Slow Food Scania (Sweden)


As a cookery book author, Wendy's food travel cookbook 'Food Miles From Home'  is a must for every kitchen.
